All of a sudden Acrobat Reader DC stays open after quickprint

Until today, Quickprint from Outlook 2016 to Adobe Reader DC worked fine.  Reader opened, printed, and closed.  Now, it prints, and Reader DC stays open creating a bit issue for our payables department quick printing many documents very quickly.

I tried the registry hack I have seen in forums, and still the reader stays open.  Why is this happening?
