All plugins listed as "Certified:No"; Reader crashing

Adobe Reader DC v.20058 was recently pushed to the Enterprise. A small subset of workstations (regardless of user) will crash on opening Reader DC with error, "An invalid plugin was detected".

If I go to "About Adobe Plugins" on an impacted workstation, EVERY plugin is listed as "Certified:No". Healthy workstations have this listed as "Yes" for all Plugins. I don't know how to toggle this setting and I don't understand why only a small subset of workstations are exhibiting this behaviour when all workstations were updated via the same SCCM package, transform file, deployment, etc.
