Question
Another AA does not allow connection with: smb://....
I see others have posted on this topic, but don't see a solution to get out of the loop I'm in.
- I scanned 3 documents to the hard drive of my computer.
- They are in the same folder and have files of the same length. Two of the 3 open fine. The 3rd generates the "Adobe Acrobat does not allow connection with: smb://" allowing me Help - to open a tab in my browser - or an endless loop of pressing "ok" that never resolves.
- The only way to shut AA down is using task manager's end task. That includes when I open the program - no document.
- I rebooted my PC and opened AA directly so I could try to change preferences. The same error appears after I open AA. It does not allow me to change any settings.
- I'm using Windows 10, Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.418). Can't tell you the Adobe Acrobat version because I can't open it, but it is likely the latest version.
Thanks for any guidance - but this feels like a bug to me.
Karen
