    Hi Camila,

Sorry to hear about the trouble.

As mentioned, the application Adobe Acrobat Reader didn't close after working on a pdf file. While closing the Reader did it give any specific error?

Since its a delay in response to your query, then I assume that the issue might have been resolved by now.

If you happen to experience the same issue in future, then you can follow the following troubleshooting steps-

    1. Open Activity Monitor through Search.
    2. Close all the Acrobat instances from running processes. You might need to force quit them.
    3. Reboot computer.
    4. Open Adobe Reader and check the update. Open Reader>Help>Check for update
    5. Still getting stuck or struggling to open PDF file, then uninstall application using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  and install through-  Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    Akanchha
