Appcrash RDRCEF.exe since 17.009.20044 on RDS 2012R2

Hello Community / Adobe Support.

(my favorite language: german)

Since today we have Appcrash-Errors from RDRCEF.EXE on 2 different Win2012R2 RDS Servers, where the Updater installed the new Version 17.009.20044 automatically.

- multiple Error-Message by all RDS-Users (Admin too) when opening Adobe-Reader-DC (with oder without a Document)

- We are currently dealing with the problem:  renaming the RDRCEF.exe

Any Ideas?

I can confirm a repair install from within the application has resolved the issue on 1of4 RDS servers in the farm.

We also have the same problem on our Windows 2008 R2 RDS servers. Three servers automatically updated to 207.009.20044 and all have the same issue.

    April 12, 2017

Same problem here - 4 different sites and counting.

3 are 2012 R2 and the other is on 2008
