Apple's own dictionary not working on Adobe Reader DC on an updated Macbook

i am using adobe for my pdfs but it is so distracting to go through dictionary.com whenever i click on ''look up'' on my macbook.

some friends are using this look up feature with adobe without being referred to dictionary.com.

is there a way to see that preview window on adobe which shows the meanings of the words provided by apple?
