    Hi Jasonl,

I tried reproducing the crash at my end  but was not able to do so, as it's working fine at my end, you may try uninstallation and reinstallation once.

And if you wish to report a bug, you may through Feature Request/Bug Report Form  Link: http://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.

    Hi Jasonl,

As per the issue description, the Acrobat Pro DC is crashing while using the CTRL+ F command to search in any PDF, Is that correct?

Please try repairing the Acrobat from Acrobat>Help>Reapir Acrobat installation.

You can also check for any pending updates from Help>Check for updates.

You may also Go to menu Acrobat>Edit (Win) -> Preferences, choose "Search" category click on "Purge Cache contents" or even uncheck "Enable fast find".

For more troubleshooting steps, you can refer to KB doc Resolve Acrobat DC intermittent crashes on Windows Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html

Hope this helps, and keep us posted with the results.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.

    Hi there,

Sorry if you misunderstood me--this is a bug report but not an issue that I'm particularly concerned about. I can work around it.

Actually, the bug is caused by doing a text search with Ctrl+F. It only occurs when pressing Escape *after* completing a search.

There are no available updates, and repairing the application did not correct the issue.

It is relevant though that disabling "Fast Find" did correct the issue--but when fast find is re-enabled, it still crashes. However, after using the menu to perform a search (Edit->Find) the bug does not occur. However, I am ALSO having un-reproduceable crashes involving the Find feature; for example, I completed a search and then attempted to modify the text in the "Find" box, and the application crashed.
