AR and IE11

Hi, I recently installed Windows 7 pro, updated it, put Security Essentials, after which I downloaded Acrobat Reader to have a pdf reader directly in the browser tabs and even outside of it (at the moment, there are no installed drivers of the manufacturer of the PC - video, sound, etc.).

However, after I have activated the extension in the IE 11 browser, there is the problem that, while opening the browser tab that should contain the pdf, the load is jammed, the browser is as if it were blocked, producing typical slowdown effects due to exorbitant processing, and in the end the pdf isn't loaded and displayed, indeed, because of the block, it is difficult to interact with the whole system.

I would like to know if there is currently any incompatibility between this SO / browser and Acrobat Reader or at least its extension to IE11.

    Hello Fabian,

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, I can understand IE 11 is crashing with the Adobe Reader plug-in, Is that correct?

    Please check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader.

    Make sure that you have installed all the mandate updates related to the Operating system.

    For testing purpose, please disable the Protected Mode in Adobe Reader and see if this brings any difference. Navigate to Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)>Uncheck "Enable Protected Mode at startup".

    Note: Disabling Protected Mode is only for testing purpose, please enable it back.

    Sorry but it doesn't work. The program is updated, and the same for the OS. I followed your suggestion of disabling protected mode. This made an improvement just for a while, then it came back to previous state of blocking any pending process. I have so uninstalled AR.

    Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. If the reinstallation of Adobe Reader does not help, then create a test user profile with full admin rights and check.
