Hi.. I have a file with some graphics content. Acrobat Reader DC (ver. 2019.008.20081) shows it correctly, even preview in print dialog. But if I print it using no matter what printer (real or virtual, like doPDF) a lot of artifacts apear.

Sample file printed in Acrobat Reader DC with doPDF printer:

    Hi there!

We're sorry for the trouble you had, try printing the PDF file as an image and see if this makes any difference Print PDF as image | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

I tried printing the PDF file using Acrobat Pro DC latest version as Print to Adobe PDF and with Real Printer and the resultant PDF file looks same as the sample file shared above. See: Adobe Document Cloud

Note: Print to Adobe PDF is not available with freeware Adobe Reader application.

Go to Printers Advanced Print Setup and under Color Management select 'Let printer determine colors' and try printing the file.

For testing purpose, download and install the trial of Acrobat and see if you face the same issue Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.

    Hi. Thanks for reply.

Printing PDF as image works fine, but isn't an option for me. Some times I need separated objects, not a single image.

"Let printer determine colors" made no changes to the output.

And Acrobat Pro behaves the same way.

    UPD.

Artifacts appear if printer doesn't support PostScript, I guess. (Advanced Print Setup->PostScript options "Language" combo and "Font and resources policy" are disabled).
