Adobe, you need to get your crap together! I can't even save a document that I didn't create a password for and there are no solutions that I have found that resolve this issue. This sucks royally!!!!

@Pathfynder65! if you received a PDF that asking you for a password to either print it or open it, it is a security feature from the person who sent it. If you weren't given the password, it means it wasn't meant for you is it...it's doing it's job! If you want to open it properly, go and ask for the password!

Pathfynder, I am sorry you are unable to save your document. Are you using Acrobat Reader to edit the document? Were you previously able to open and edit the file in Reader, Pathfynder, or is this a new file?

Finally, where did you obtain the PDF file from? Have you contacted the author of the PDF to confirm if a password was set to protect the document? For more information on document security, see https://adobe.ly/3LMWGcv. ^JW
