Assistance with saving documents

Is there a way to quickly save the changes in a document to the exact same location?  Currently, I have to go through multiple steps to save a document that has been edited to the exact same location.

Could you try adding privileged location under Reader's preferences and see if that helps: More info here: Trust Methods — Acrobat Application Security Guide

Enhanced security setting for PDFs, Adobe Acrobat

If that doesn't work, try navigating to Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) >

Uncheck the box next to Enable protected mode at startup > click OK, reboot the machine and try again.

Hi Arvindn,

As per above-mentioned description, you want to save pdf to the same location it was opened from, is that correct?

Have you tried enabling "show online storage option when saving files" where you can get the list of recently accessed folder?

You can locate this setting in Reader/ Acrobat by clicking Edit > Preferences > General > Show online storage when saving files.

Let us know if that is not the case.

Good evening Shivam,

I can definitely save an edited file to the same location. However, I am trying to do this without going through four or five separate pop-up boxes. I hope this clarifies my question. In most programs, ctrl-s will easily and quickly save an edited document to the same location. Thanks in advance. Arvind
