Attaching a digital certificate to a PDF

Hello everyone!

Does anyone know, how to attach a digital certificate to a pdf in order for Adobe to view it as safe, so it doesn't block any content in it.  My organization creates labels, which we print from PDF to a Zebra printer.  The only way that it prints the barcode, is if we "Disable Protected Mode at Startup", which my management views as unsafe.  Is there a way to attach a digital signature/certificate, when this PDF file is created, so nothing is blocked?
