Audio player error

Hello,
2 years ago, I recorded audio comments in pdf files, with acrobat reader. Now, reopening the files, Acrobat Reader doesn't play the audio and if I click sound icon, it says "Could not find player for the audio". In settings I found that the player is QuickTime, which I have in my mac. How can I solve this problem? If not possible is there a way to recover these audios?
