PDF form with generated barcode (QRCode) was designed with Adobe Acrobat pro. 2017. But the barcode on the form greyed out when open in AdoAcrobat Reader DC v2020.  I have reviewed many links through google about this topic.  But I hbe  ave not found any confirmed solution how to barcode available in Acrobat Reader. such as most of suggestions were to use a server product: LiveCycle Reader Extensions. but it also said: Livecycle Reader Extensions  were replaced by Adobe Experience Manager.   Did this mean the form is created by Adobe experience manager with barcode will work in Acrobat Reader? is this the only way?  Your professional help is very appreciated.

Adobe Experience manager doesn't make the form. It marks the form to allow Reader to use barcodes. The price is by negotiation but expect 5-6 figures. If you have fewer than 100 users, may be cheaper to buy each one Acrobat.
