Best Option for Acrobat on Windows Server 2003

Hi, I'm trying to choose the correct version of Adobe Acrobat to install on a client's machine in order to get a PDF printer driver on that computer.

After looking around the Adobe site, the following seems to be true and please correct me if I'm wrong:

1. Adobe Acrobat DC Pro will not run on Windows Server 2003

2. Adobe Acrobat XI Pro will be supported until this October 2017 but there is no clear channel to obtain a license

Upgrading the server will be encouraged but is unlikely to happen in the near future, so assume that I'm stuck with Server 2003.

What is my best option?  Thanks in advance.

Edited:  typo.

Well, I think you've summed up the situation accurately. Acrobat XI is no longer sold, support continues only for existing licensees.

But there's another issue. Acrobat is licensed per-user. There are licensing models that can be used with Terminal Server, but no license is available for a true server process (e.g. for use from a web server). You might look into the enterprise solution LiveCycle PDF Generator, not clear if it still supports Server 2003.
