Blurred PDF in Full Page View - A bug report about Acrobat Products

The following pdf created with Distiller ( http://www.motionmountain.net/Schiller-Strand-Colour-Talk.pdf  ) is shown blurred in "full page" view (command-L) on my Macbook Pro (Retina, 15') running OSX 10.13. This happens with Adobe Reader XI, Adobe Reader DC and Acrobat XI Pro. The letters are somewhat blurred. The effect also occurs on OSX 10.12.

The first page is shown sharply, the next page is blurry. The next page returns to a sharp display if I do Cmd+ followed by Cmd- (thus a zoom in and zoom out). The opposite, i.w. Cmd- followed by Command+, also works to make the page sharp again.

The first page even turns blurred if you go the the next page and then return to the first. But typing Cmd+ and Cmd- after every page change is awful. In other words, the scrolling of pages in full view mode is not possible.

What can be done?

Update: In "reading Mode" (shift-command-H) the images of all pages are sharp. In "full page mode" (command-L) the images are blurred.

This is clearly a bug of the rendering engine. This is a pity, because it means that Adobe SW at the moment cannot be used to give presentations! For giving presentations, full page mode is essential.

Hi,

All I can do, as I do not have your hardware, is looking at the file. I see very little that could cause blurred display.

Could you please check that all the display drivers are up to date?

I agree, full page mode is essential for presentations.

The Version of Apple's OSX if fully updated to the most recent version 10.13.2. Here is the hardware monitor description:

MacBook Pro with Display 15,4-inch (2880 x 1800) Graphic Card Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB.

Since the images are sharp with shift-command-H, but not with command-L (these are OSX commands) it seems very unlikely that the monitor or the graphic card is the cause of this.

The annoying thing is that shift-command-L still leaves a vertical slider, whereas command-L does not.
