Bookmarks bar not showing, cannot 'tick' it under show/hide navigation panes

Hi,

My bookmarks bar is not showing in most of my PDFs. It does, however, show in others, but for most files, it does not.

I have the latest version installed and no paid membership.

I have been searching for quite a bit, but without the luck to find the answer.

    Correct answer Test Screen Name

    If a PDF has no bookmarks in it, then you won't see the panel in Reader. If you have paid for Acrobat you get the panel anyway so you can add bookmarks.
