bottom of some graphics cut off

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble with a PDF. When I convert the original Word document to PDF form, some [but not all] of the graphics are cut off above their bottom border. All graphics are PNG. The graphics that are unaffected are formatted the same way as the graphics that are affected, and the formatting of the document before and following the graphics is the same too. I have tried both File > Save as... > PDF and exporting as PDF, both with the same results. Any help or ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

versions: Word 2013, Adobe Reader XI

Looks like a problem of MS Word. Adobe Reader can't create PDF files.

Alright, I'll post in a Word forum too. Thank you!
In the mean time, if anyone has any more insight I'd love to hear it!
