Bought a Brother scanner, and it has Nuance, which has done an over-write of Adobe. What scanners uses Adobe?

Adobe colleagues:

1) I'm disappointed in the Brother ADS 2000 scanner I bought. It's got Nuance as the resident pdf generator, and the Nuance product did an over-write of Adobe. I think that's rude of Nuance! Several re-boot program installs followed.

2) Here's my Q, colleagues:  What scanners come with Adobe as the resident pdf program? I prefer the Adobe platform. (I think Nuance could do a parallel-save of their product, giving the user the choice between Adobe or Nuance.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your countenance!

The Nuance product doesn't overwrite Acrobat Reader.

If you're on a Windows machine Shift+Right-click any PDF file and select Open With - Choose Default Program, then select Reader and tick the box to always use it to open this type of file. Now try it again...

The chances are, all that changed is the app run when you double click on a PDF. This is a matter of small importance, open it another way.
