Broken PDF characters

When opening a PDF in Acrobat Reader, I see broken characters which make the PDF unreadable. Fix?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader.

Would you mind sharing a sample file and the screenshot of the text you see for better understanding and assistance?

While you do so, you can try the given steps:

Go to Edit-> Preferences-> Display-> Uncheck the checkbox "Use Page Cache" under Rendering.

Once done, restart Acrobat Reader and check if it helps.
