Can Acrobat Pro Standard create A form from a Word Document

I have tried converting a Word document into a PDF form, but the result is a fillable Word form, not a PDF form. I have Acrobat Pro Standard, but all the instructions I can find are for Acrobat Pro DC, so I am wondering if I don't have the right software. I cannot find an answer anywhere.

This is not possible. You have Pro or Standard.

Both versions of Acrobat can do it, yes. You can't have them both installed at the same time, though.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the result is a fillable Word form", though. Acrobat can convert Word to PDF, or PDF to Word, but not a Word document to a Word form, of course.

Yes, I figured that out. I was trying to be very careful to get it right. I have Acrobat Pro and Acrobat DC Standard but I can't seem to access Acobat DC Standard. I have reached out to my instution for help. In the meantime if you think you can offer me any insight as to why my Word dacuments do not convert to an Adobe Form (they tun into a Word Fillable Form) I would appreciate it. Thanks for the response.
