Can I go from PDF to TXT keeping sentence lenght?

Hi, I'm not good with computers and such, with that being said I was recently assigned with at task at work that requires me to copy information from several PDF files to .txt to my surprise when I paste the information on the notepad it loses all the formatting, also if  there is a "weird or special" character the same thing happens.

Can I somehow keep the exact same information in the exact same way it is displayed on the pdf when I save it in .txt?

Thanks in advance.

Notepad has no formatting, just text. Try Word instead. Won't be perfect, but there's a hope.

Well the thing is I must use Notepad. So far the best solution I've found is to paste the info from the PDF and then manually adjust the sentences length and add any special characters such as asterisks and such but this is really time consuming. That's why I'm looking for another option.

If you want to save the formatting, I believe you would need to save it as an .rtf document rather than a .txt document...
