Adobe Reader DC starts up with the Tools menu down the right side.  Can the startup be modified so it starts and stays as a full screen view without seeing the tools unless asked for?

    Hi danc75636191,

You can hide the tools pane at right and can open it when needed.

First, you have to manually close the tool pane at right.

Then navigate to Edit menu > Preferences > Documents and check box for "Remember current state of Tools pane".

Click OK at the bottom to save settings and relaunch the application.

Let us know if this helps.

I found something that seems to work:

Open a PDF document / manually close the right side panel by clicking on the trianglenext to it + the arrow under it when it collapses / go to Edit menu > Preferences > Documents / uncheck restore last view settings when reopening documents + check remebmer current state of tools pane / scroll to the bottom and check OK / close the application and reopen it to test if it works. (It did on my computer).
