Can I leave the existing .pdf file settings alone during Reader update
Can I leave the existing .pdf file settings alone during a Reader DC update installation?
We need to deploy an update to Acrobat Reader DC to our Windows 10 workstations (via Microsoft ConfigMgr). As part of the installation the setup program will make Reader DC the default application for .pdf files. For most of our users this is fine but we have a number of users that also have the full Acrobat product installed. We want to leave Acrobat the default .pdf editor on these machines.
Isn't there a way to tell the Acrobat Reader install program to NOT make any changes to the existing .pdf extension settings?
Thanks in advance for your help!
