Can links in a pdf be live in smartphones?

I have a giveaway in PDF format that has links. I opened it in my Smartphone, but the links weren't live like they would be on a laptop or computer.  Can anything be done?

I have tried to replicate the issue and the links were working fine on the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application.

Could you please share the exact steps you do to create the links.

Are using the Adobe mobile application to open the PDF?

What is the dot version of OS on your device?
