Can no longer edit PDFs with Acrobat DC on Mac

I get no error it just stopped working and my account is still active. 

Anyone any ideas?

    Hi Garyd1095608,

    We just checked your Adobe account at our end and your Creative Cloud membership seems to be cancelled.

    Also, please confirm what do you see when you try to open the documents in the application.

    My membership is still active for another few weeks, my account is paid for till end of month.

    I don't get an error, I can open a PDF fine, but clicking EDIT does nothing and throws no error, I see this on OSX 10.12.3
