Can no longer make comments on pdf's captured with GetFireShot app

First of all, I am using Adobe Reader Version 2022.001.2014.2 in Windows 10.

For several years I have used an app called "Get Fire Shot" for making screenshots and saving them as a pdf.

I've never had a problem opening one of these saved pdf's and making comments until a couple of weeks ago.

First it was the geometric figures that didn't work, i.e., circle, rectangle, straight line, etc.  Now however, I cannot even make a comment on any of these pdf's without getting a popup message that says:

"Adobe Acrobate does not allow connection to getfireshot.com".  How do I fix this?  I would love to revert back to a previous version of Adobe reader since this one has been nothing but trouble but cannot find out how to do that either.  Adobe Reader, that used to work so well, and was so reliable, has turned into a convoluted mess of a nightmare.
