can not download adobe reader

Help!!

What is the deal? I have signed in and can not download on Safari, Firefox or Chrome.

El Capitan OS X 10.11.6

I download Adobe Reader and it says successfully downloaded but then can not open it.

I did it five times, including with Apple tech person, who says

About this Mac indicates that the new storage/memory is not showing the info it should.
