Can't convert pdf to Word

When I try to convert a pdf file to word, it asks me to "sign up" and grey outs the convert o word and Convert buttons. I have paid for a subscription and can log into my acct

    The Reader discussed in this forum is a FREE program that reads... what program did you buy?

    I don't know - there is no information in my manage acct. I opened a pdf in Adobe Reader. I clicked the first icon which say "convertpdf files to Word or Excel on line" When you click that, a window comes up beside you file and asks you to select a file, gives a drop down to convert to word or excel, and a blue window to sign up for the subscription. At the very top is a link to sign into your acct. I sign in and I still get the sign up box and a greyed our convert box and convert button.

    Adobe Reader is free to offer limited services, you need to be a subscribed Adobe users. Buy one, Adobe PDF converter is featured with an excellent OCR function, that's quite cool for me.
