Can`t open excel files from link or attachment

Can`t open excel files from link or attachment after installing adobe reader pro.

We have de problem on a pc and also on a laptop

We use office 2010.

If i open excel and then browse to the excel files they open normal

Are you trying to open them with Reader? Not possible; Reader can only open PDF files.f that's nt your problem, please explain it in full detail.

No we open with excel not with adobe reader.
