Can't open pdf's

My Adobe Reader DC just stopped opening pdf's from my files - web pdfs seem to be okay.  Using Mac OS 10.9.5 - reader is up-to-date -any suggestions?

The solution suggested for this issue does not solve the problem.

Some people find Window > Tile > Horizontal fixes it.

Hi Rossf9000075,

Could you please confirm what is the message that you get when trying to open the PDF?

Is it crashing or just not opening at all?

Try to close all Adobe instances from activity monitor, running at the background and then reopen the application again.

Hi there,

I am having the same issue as described above.

I quit all of my Adobe files and when I try to open any PDF file, nothing happens, not even an error message. What else should I try?
