Can’t open Spanish pdf on Swedish computer

Hi

I live in Sweden, but I have a house in Spain. We receive pdf files from gurdia civil when we register guests. The problem is that we can not open them on our computer in Sweden (many have the same problem), but if i open them on a Spanish computer there is no problem. How can i solve this? I have a new computer and the latest Acrobat Reader.

    As I said: Please name all apps and browsers and systems used. Don’t assume anything, it will be a small detail that matters.

    Hi Steve,

    When you give us all the information for the apps, browsers, and systems with their versions that Test Screen Name​ asked for, be sure to include the information for both the Swedish computer where you can’t open the PDF and the Spanish computer where you can so we can best troubleshoot.

    This is not likely to be the language. Instead it is probably the way the file came to you. Exactly how does the file get to each computer? (The conputer where it works, and the computer where it fails) Please name all apps and browsers and systems used. Don’t assume anything, it will be a small detail that matters.

    We got this pdf from spanish police by mail, and we also tried to download it from homepage.  I using windows 10 on a lenovo 920 laptop. i have acrobat reader 8

    You should update your version of Reader. It is very old and not compatible with your operating system.

    can not open the document, the file is broken and not possible to be repaired...
