Can't share pdfs via email

I updated Adobe Acrobat Reader DC today but now I can't send any emails. The share button greys out when I press it and the other ways of sharing aren't available. I repaired the app to no avail.

Any advice?

    My Adobe updated last night and also cant send pdf attachments.  I don't want to use the email icon??? as i use Gmail
