Can't type in form fields – comment box comes up instead

I've seen other issues with form fields, however, none address my particular problem.

To start, I have the latest Acrobat Pro. I created Text Fields in InDesign, as I've done in the past. The form fields passed Acrobat's accessibility checker – I've gone through all of the properties to make sure all is good. However, when I try and type in the form field, the comment box keeps appearing instead.

Of course this has to happen with a rush job :). Any help would be appreciated!
