Can't update but kep getting prompts to do so

Question

I keep gettig prompts to update Acrobat Reader.  My computer does not meet system requirements for the update (older OS and browser).  But I keep getting annoying prompts to download and install the update several times a day.  How do I STOP this?

What exact Acrobat Reader version do you have installed? Which exact OS version?

Can you provide an image of the "prompts to download and install the update"?

Best if you could enable verbose updater logging and provide verbose log file (full file in the private message). Please search this forum for "iLogLevel" registry value for instructions.
