Can we add menu item in menubar instead of adding under existing menu's using java script

I am adding menu item using below code

 

app.addSubMenu( { 
cName:"ACROSDK:JSSubMenu", 
cUser: "TestMenu", 
cParent: "File", 
nPos: 0
});
 
is there a way that i add my TestMenu like File, what whould ne cparent if i want to make it main menu item.

Not possible with Javascript. A plugin can do this.

Can you please answer my below question

I would like to ask suggestion from Adobe technical team, how can i approach them . I am not sure if i can use JavaScript to add menu or a Plugin .

Adobe currently has 23 programs included in a full Cloud subscription
Please post the exact name of the Adobe program you use so a Moderator may move this message to that forum
