Question

Cannot copy text in Acrobat Acrobat

There is a little box beside my curser stopping me from copying text - it only puts some kind if field around it.  I switch to another function, open/cose...nothing gets rid of it. There is no security in the doco.

Thanks

Lesley

That you can see text doesn't mean it's accessible. It could be am image, an vector graphic or text that's not allowed to be copied or uncopyable because of missing fonts or characters.

By "field" do you mean a blue rectangle? If so, that text is a part of an image and can't be copied on its own.

Thanks for replying - it is a small moving icon beside the pointer.

I will see if another new document I receive has the same issue.
