Cannot extract the embedded font 'LaoUI

My Adobe Reader DC is continuing to strip documents of all font other than fill-able boxes. It states the program cannot extract the embedded font 'LaoUI'. Some characters may not display or print correctly. I tried to do the most recent update to Acrobat for windows (Version 2017.012.20098) and this was not effective. Is there something else I can download to prevent this problem?

Hi Ercheidi,

Sorry for the delay in response and I hope you already have found an answer to this problem.

If not, I would like to mention you may get this message there is a possibility this font may have been used for the file creation and is not properly embedded. And there is likely a good chance the font is not available on your machine as well. Updating Reader or troubleshooting Reader will not help in this case. It is a file specific issue.

Please update this thread if you have already found a workaround to this issue that may help others.
