Cannot print a pdf document

I am using Mac OS 10.14.5 and cannot print a pdf document.  The following steps have already been taken:

1.  The printer works with Microsoft Word.  The manufacturer says there is nothing wrong with the printer or its settings.

2.  I re-downloaded the original pdf document from the company that created it. Still cannot print a page from the document. I was able to print a  page from this document last week but today cannot.

3.  I repaired the internal drive with Disk First Aid.  No problems.

Any suggestions?

    Hi

    From which application are you printing the PDF? Is it Preview or Acrobat or some other?

    Which version of Acrobat/Reader do you have?

    I am printing a pdf document from Acrobat Reader Version 2019.012.20034

    The pdf document prints using Preview so it seems this is a problem with Adobe Reader.
