Cannot print after latest update

After updating to the latest version, Adobe Reader can no longer print.

When you select any print method - i.e. the quick print button, Ctrl + P, or the File > Print menu - nothing prints or appears on screen.

We have tried restarting and repairing Adobe but neither has resolved this issue.

    Thanks Meenakshin and Ritesh.

We have actually found that our anti virus product was blocking one of the adobe components - escript.api

We have marked this file as safe and PDFs are now working as expected.

    Hi Mcewan,

As you are experiencing an issue with the printing, please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned here Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader.

You have mentioned that the issue started after the latest update. Could you please confirm the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed currently on your machine.

Take help of the steps mentioned here Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Try once uninstalling the application using the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs.

Then reboot the machine and install the application from here Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Check if that makes any difference.

Did you check if it is an issue with some particular PDFs or with all?

Try printing different files and check if you get the same result.

Let us know how it goes.
