Cannot send attachement via mail from IE

Hi everyone,

I stumbled onto a problem by using Acrobat rEADERDC...it seems that whenever i open a pdf in Internet Explorer and click on the mail icon i cannot send as attachement:

It seems the button Continue becomes obsolete and you can continuously can click it and nothing will happen.

I have also Office 365 installed on my PC, but diddn't have this issue with normal Acrobat Reader, i noticed this only after installing the Adobe DC (latest version 2019.0008.20071) . From inside the outlook works fine without issues, but the only issue seems to be with Internet explorer mail sending.

Any clues/ideas on how i could fix this? or is it just some kind of bug ?

    Hello,

    I have the same problem for emailing the pdf file in IE 11 version 11.285.17134.

    my version of Adobe reader verison is 2019.008.20071.41678.

    Before the Adobe Reader update the mail sending of the PDF file in IE 11 was working properly.

    If we open the PDF file in Adobe reader it works properly.
    I think the plugin for IE11 bug for sending mail.
    to open the outlook dialog with the attachment does not work in IE11.

    I have 80 users who are impacted by this bug!
    And they are not telling that it does not work as before.
    Thanks for finding a solution quickly to fix the bug !

    @Stephane2109 did you try by any chance with an older version? I'm real curios if it's related to version issue or it never worked for Adobe Reader DC ...

    Any suggestions/fixes would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    I uninstall the Adobe reader version DC 2019.008.20071.41678.

    I have installed version 2018.009.20044 of Adobe reader.

    Find on this URL:

    http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/1800920044/AcroRdrDC1800920044_en_US.exe

    I tested and again Abode DC 2018 in IE11 for sending mail (small envelope) it works fine.

    So the Adobe reader version DC 2019.008.20071.41678 has a bug in IE11.
