Cannot send email with an attachment

I save an " incoming " email and then add comments to it and save under ' my documents ". Then I wish to send this saved item as an email attachment. But when I click " send " nothing happens. Please help....

    What version of Mac or Window?

    Which mail program and what version?

    Which version of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader?

    Is the PDF open or closed?

    How are you attaching it to the email?

    Is it all documents or only one?

    Have you tried other addresses?
