Cannot use Acrobat 2017 on new computer

Question

My computer failed last week and I had a new one built.

My hard drive was cloned but now my Acrobat 2017 is not working. When I try to use it, it thinks I'm using the paid version of DC and says the serial number is not valid.

Help please.

You can't clone Adobe software. Well, you can, but the licensing won't work. Did you reinstall it at all, or is this just a copy of the old disk? Please explain "thinks I'm using the paid version of DC and says the serial number is not valid." -- Acrobat 2017 is a paid product with a serial number. Acrobat DC is a paid product but has no serial number.
