Hi there

The planned update for Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC version 21.07.20099  is now available. Please update the application from the help menu > Check for updates  and reboot the computer once.

You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html  and see if that works for you.

For more information about the new release please check the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/adobe-acrobat-and-reader-october-21-updates-are-live/td-p/12446503

Let us know if you experience any trouble and need more help

Regards

Amal

Hi there

Sorry to keep you waiting and for the delay in response.

Please confirm the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and the OS you are using so that we can isolate the issue for the fix .

To check the version of the application go to Help > About Acrobat

Also pleae confirm if the issue started with the version 21.07.20091 or with the version 21.07.20095 (Win), 21.07.20096 (Mac).

Regards

Amal

Version is 2021.007.20095.
if i look running processes on task manager on my computer after the issue comes.

There are many processes on same name (Adobe AcroCEF or Adobe RdrCEF) still running even Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is closed.

After those hanging processes have been ended on task manager and you start Adobe Acrobat Reader DC again. It will work sometime again, after the same issue comes again,

Hi there

Are you on Windows or Mac OS?

Please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

If it still doesn't work, please  collect the process monitor logs (For Windows) https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html and the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html  of the afftected machine and share the ogs with us via document cloud https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html

If you are on Mac please collect the logs as per the link https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html and share them via document cloud as described.

Regards

Amal
