When I go to my Adobe Acrobat Reader Account it won't let me change my primary email address. Why?

Hi Adobe!

 

I wish to change our primary email address for the Adobe Admin Portal however the address I wish to change to  has been priviously been used by a user, despite the fact this user and associated email address have been deleted the system still refuses to change to it. Method to change : browsing to https://account.adobe.com/profile scroll down to "Primary email (Adobe ID)" and select change. Please can some one give direction?! System states "Email already used."

I have same issue.  "email already used". did you get any reply for this matter?
