Chrome - Adobe

I am trying to have documents that I download open in PDF without downloading.  However, when I do download the document, it opens in Chrome format.  I then have to click on the 3 horiztonal lines that appear and then click on download to pdf. 

I am trying to avoid this step.  I'd prefer that once I download the document, it open in PDF format automatically.  I've attached a screen shot of what I see when I download.
