Cleaning up printer lists presented for pdf file print requests using Acrobat reader DC (Win 10)

From time to time I get glitches which locks up my Window 10 Home 64 bit system. Usually this necessitates setting up / troubleshooting my physical printer (Epson XP-830) to get it back on line. This usually results in another printer being added to the list of printer options  presented by the reader -- untidy and confusing.

Is there any way that I can edit the list presented to remove these redundant items -- that is, limit the list to one entry for the single actual printer?
