code for limiting the size (to A4) of a pdf viewed in a browser

Hi,

my website has recently had an overhaul.  I have pdf's with info for people to click on but on a large screen they come up massive and the photos on them are blurred.  Is there anywhere I can access code to limit the size of the pdf being viewed in a new window to max A4 size?

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you have the full version of Acrobat, you may be able to set them so they open at a certain percentage. Assuming they open at 150% now, you can set the percentage to 100% in File>Properties>Initial view. If you only have the free Acrobat Reader, you cannot do this.

One thing to add, if they use a browser that doesn't use the Adobe Reader plug-in (Edge, Chrome, FF 64bit...etc.) to view pdf files, I don't know for a fact that setting the initial view size would work. You would want to test it.
