Color differences with no embedded profile?

Hi there,

I'm having an issue where the file I'm trying to use isn't displaying the same color as the original file. As far as I can tell they're exactly the same in terms of the way they were saved and there isn't anything that stands out in the object inspector. I've attached a screenshot of each file, you can see the lines are less visible in one. I can't use the original file for print because the new artwork has a different logo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
