Why do I loose the color in a doc when I save pdf docs to Adobe reader? The color in the doc changes to black and white when I access it in Adobe.

    Hi Bjt,

    We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, what is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify the version, take help from the article Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

    Would you mind sharing the workflow of saving the document in PDF? Are you saving a Microsoft Word document using its functionality to save as PDF that is FIle>Save As >PDF?

    This is the functionality of saving a document to PDF not as 'Save As Adobe PDF' and this may be the reason you are losing the colors when viewing the PDF using freeware Adobe Reader.

    I have also checked the license details with your Adobe ID(email) and you are not subscribed to Acrobat license which enables the feature of saving a document as 'Save As Adobe PDF'
